  As someone who has a strong impression of Sanji Machinery, I have long wanted to know and get to know the CEO of this company. I didn't want to, but just as we arrived, we encountered the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of Sanji. What a coincidence!
Shanghai Sanji Die Casting Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is headquartered in Shanghai and has a production base in Suzhou. The tenth anniversary celebration is also in Suzhou, by the beautiful the Taihu Lake Lake.
  The Sanji production base, known as the "garden style enterprise," does not require any decoration to make people linger and forget to leave. After being decorated for the celebration, it adds a touch of beauty and joy.
  On the red background wall, there are ten big characters that read "Gratitude for Ten Years, New Starting Point, and Common Development", highlighting the theme of the 10th anniversary celebration and highlighting the values and personality traits of the Three Foundations people.
  In the conference room, a reporter from China Die Casting interviewed Gu Xiaobo, the general manager of Shanghai Sanji Die Casting Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
  Reporter: Hello, Mr. Gu? Today is the 10th anniversary celebration of Sanji Company. As the person in charge of the company, I must have a lot of emotions! Can we share your feelings at this moment?
  Mr. Gu: It can be said that I have a lot of emotions! But I think the theme of this celebration expresses all my thoughts, which is: gratitude for ten years, new starting point, and common development!
Reporter: Sanji has gone through a glorious journey of ten years. Can you briefly review it with us?
  Mr. Gu: Actually, the predecessor of Sanji has been involved in the processing of die-casting machine components since 1991, and has a certain understanding of the performance characteristics of many world-renowned brands of die-casting machines in the market. In 1997, taking advantage of the favorable trend of China's reform and opening up, we registered and established Shanghai Sanji Industrial Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, the forefront of the development of the Yangtze River Delta. At the beginning of its establishment, the company established the corporate philosophy of "customers are our foundation, talent is our cornerstone, and quality is our foundation". The company devoted a year to researching excellent die-casting machines both domestically and internationally, absorbing and digesting their advanced technologies, and delving into the needs of customers who use the equipment, understanding their requirements and the problems encountered in the die-casting production process. During this period, the company also made every effort to introduce professional technical talents, production management talents, and marketing talents from various aspects of the die-casting industry. We are well aware that in order to achieve the dream of becoming a leading enterprise in China's die-casting machine industry, we must have a very excellent, professional, experienced, and technically proficient management team. In 1998, a group of outstanding talents in China who were the first to engage in cold chamber die-casting machine equipment came together for this common dream. Shanghai Sanji Industrial Co., Ltd. was restructured into a joint-stock enterprise and officially became Shanghai Sanji Die Casting Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. In the same year, the first 800T cold chamber die-casting machine independently developed and produced by Sanji was officially launched. In terms of design level, performance indicators, mechanical structure, and manufacturing quality, it has improved to varying degrees compared to domestic die-casting equipment of the same period. Among them, the technical level of the control system and injection system has approached that of foreign die-casting equipment. It can be said that the three base die-casting machines are leading China's die-casting equipment towards large-scale, automated, and modular development. Afterwards, with the successive launch of various large-scale die-casting machines, it has now developed into a complete series of cold chamber die-casting machines ranging from 160T to 2500T, with large, medium, and small models.
  Reporter: According to your introduction, the name "Three Basics" has profound connotations. How should we understand it?
  Mr. Gu: "Three basics" are the purpose of our enterprise. Specifically, firstly, talent is our cornerstone. Sanji has one of the earliest excellent teams in China engaged in the research and production of die-casting equipment, including more than 50 professional and technical personnel, and 6 with more than 15 years of work experience. These outstanding talents have ensured the continuous development of the company's technological progress since the establishment of the Three Basics, providing a powerful source of power for the rapid development of the Three Basics.
  Secondly, quality is our foundation. Sanji conducts comprehensive and rigorous evaluations of each supplier. The components are selected from world-renowned professional manufacturers, such as Germany's Rexroth, Siemens, and Flying Spur; Oil Research and Omron in Japan; Schneider of France, Parker of the United States, Ma Diling of Italy, and General of Taiwan, China of China. In order to ensure the machining accuracy of mechanical components, the company has introduced four large machining centers from Toshiba and other brands in Japan, as well as inspection and testing methods such as Italian coordinate measuring instruments. The company implements quality monitoring throughout the entire process and 100% component inspection to ensure the reliability and high performance of the factory products. In 2001, Sanji obtained the ISO9001:2000 quality assurance system certification from Moody's in the UK.
  Thirdly, customers are our foundation. Sanji regards the extension of service quality and variety as another "gold medal" product for the company's sustainable development. From pre-sales consultation, technical support during sales, after-sales training, maintenance, and repair to helping customers solve production problems, Sanji provides a series of services such as mold design, production, and establishment of fully automated production lines, allowing customers to truly enjoy the high added value brought by purchasing Sanji products. After ten years of development, Sanji has become a well-known brand in the industry and has gained the trust of many high-end customers in China. Famous companies in the industry such as BYD Auto, New Dazhou Honda, Sidetech Electronics, Supor Cookware, Aisida Electric, Changxing Die Casting, Ningbo Liaoyuan, Tianjin Xianda, Youchangle Wanli, etc.
  Reporter: For a successful enterprise, independent research and development is very distinctive. Could you briefly introduce the technology research and development of the Three Basics?
  Mr. Gu: Since its establishment, the company has always adhered to the principle of technology first, taken the path of independent innovation, sought novelty and change, and established a sound technological innovation system. The company's investment in new product development accounts for 10% of sales revenue. Through in-depth and meticulous market research, we continuously develop new processes that meet the needs of domestic users, such as "parabolic injection function", "no fly edge injection system", "PCC control system", "real-time control injection system", etc., to ensure that our technological level is ahead of domestic peers. We have continuously developed multiple domestically leading die-casting models through cooperation with foreign technical experts in the field of die-casting, such as the "high-efficiency die-casting machine" that can quickly open and close molds, greatly improving production efficiency. In June 2007, the domestically produced 2500T cold chamber die-casting island with independent intellectual property rights, which is the first fully automatic production of four cylinder body for automobiles, was successfully put into operation in Chongqing, establishing a leading position among domestic cold chamber die-casting manufacturing enterprises and becoming the preferred brand for first-class die-casting enterprises to purchase die-casting equipment.
  Reporter: I learned from my contacts with some casting companies that they highly recognize Sanji's large-scale equipment with a capacity of over 800T. Can you share your experience?
  Mr. Gu: At the beginning of its establishment, Sanji learned through market analysis that in China at that time, die-casting machines were mainly small and medium-sized in the cold chamber, with 95% of the total being below 800T. Therefore, it has positioned itself in the direction of large-scale, automated, and modular development. During the past decade, Sanji has consistently adhered to and continuously strived for innovation, improvement, perfection, and enhancement in large-scale equipment. The company has overcome the difficulty of high funding requirements for large equipment, and focuses on introducing excellent technical talents and hiring experienced experts in the domestic and foreign die-casting machine industry to ensure that the production technology of large equipment is leading and the performance is reliable. We are pleased and encouraged to have gained recognition from the industry. In the future, our three foundations will continue to maintain their advantages in large-scale equipment, specialize and refine, and challenge new goals!

  Mr. Gu: Becoming a leading die-casting equipment manufacturing enterprise in China is the dream of all three basics people. Providing customers with the most cost-effective die-casting machines and creating the maximum investment return value is the goal that Sanji has always pursued relentlessly. Over the past decade, we are grateful for the trust, support, and assistance from people from all walks of life.   Therefore, on the occasion of this 10th anniversary celebration, we have collaborated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University to establish the "Jiao Tong University Three Foundation Die Casting Engineering Technology Research Center". The engineering center relies on Shanghai Jiao Tong University's strong scientific research capabilities and Three Foundation's rich experience in die casting equipment production. We hope to concentrate talents, technology, and funds through a broader perspective and more professional channels, and devote ourselves to the research and development of new die casting equipment, new processes, and new materials, striving to promote the long-term sustainable development of enterprises, promote the development of die casting engineering technology in China, provide customers with a complete set of die casting problem solutions, and create higher benefits.
  On the occasion of this 10th anniversary celebration, we have successfully launched the "KDK-SJ High Efficiency High Energy Cold Chamber Die Casting Machine" in cooperation with Tokyo Industries, Ltd. in Japan. KDK, a subsidiary of Tokyo Industries, Ltd., is one of the earliest companies in Japan to engage in die-casting machines, with mature and reliable technical experience advantages. The launch of this brand fills the gap in the domestic high-end die-casting machine market in China. We firmly believe that this high-end Japanese Chinese cooperation brand cold chamber die-casting machine will definitely create better benefits for customers. As is well known, casting companies need to spend multiple times the price of domestic equipment to purchase imported die-casting machines in order to produce high-quality and high-density die-casting products. However, this "KDK-SJ high-efficiency and high-energy cold chamber die-casting machine" is only a fraction of the price of imported die-casting machines.

    Today, there is one more thing that we are pleased with. With the close assistance of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Light Alloy Engineering Research Center and researcher Qi Pixiang, our domestically developed SCH-350A horizontal squeeze casting machine, which is the first domestically advanced technology level in Delta, has passed the national level appraisal. Squeeze casting is similar to die casting, but the surface of squeeze castings is smooth and can form more complex castings, which can better improve the density and strength of castings, while achieving relatively high production efficiency. Therefore, both domestic and international industries have identified squeeze casting technology as one of the ideal processes for producing high-end non-ferrous castings. It caters to the international trend of non-ferrous metal castings, especially aluminum, magnesium, and zinc alloy castings, rapidly developing towards high-end and high mechanical properties. This will further promote the export of high-end castings in China and greatly enhance the international competitiveness of Chinese castings!
