The high-efficiency intelligent die-casting island project jointly applied by Suzhou Sanji Casting Equipment Co., Ltd. and FAW Casting Co., Ltd. has been awarded the "National Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Development Special Project" jointly organized and implemented by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the Ministry of Finance. The total investment of the project is 130 million yuan, and the project has received 27 million yuan in national funding. The project implementation period is 3.5 years.
The efficient intelligent die-casting island is based on a self-developed real-time control die-casting machine, which intelligently controls the die-casting machine and surrounding equipment through an embedded controller. The implementation of the project includes the following:

(2) Research and development of embedded dedicated controllers;
(3) Research and development of high-temperature and corrosion-resistant component picking robots;
(4) Research and development of intelligent control system for die-casting island;
(5) Research and development of online intelligent detection system;
(6) Research and development of MES system for information management of die-casting production;
(7) Development of an intelligent melt gas content detection system;
(8) Research and development of automatic 3D servo spraying robotic arm;
(9) Research and development of automatic quantitative pouring system;
(10) Development of an expert system for selecting process parameters in embedded die-casting;
(11) Research and development of intelligent vacuum die-casting system;
(12) Research and development of system reliability design and implementation technology;
(13) Realize the industrial production of three or more large and complex die-casting parts, including heavy-duty truck transmission housing, independent C-Class sedan transmission housing, and engine cylinder block.
The efficient intelligent die-casting island can achieve programmatic, digital, and remote control of the manufacturing process from raw materials to qualified castings in die-casting production, online product quality testing, and information-based production management. Real time control of the die-casting machine can intelligently adjust the die-casting process and injection parameters; The online intelligent detection system can achieve real-time quantitative analysis of defects in casting products; The intelligent control system of die-casting island can achieve dual closed-loop adaptive control in die-casting production.
