The high-efficiency intelligent die-casting island project jointly applied by Suzhou Sanji Casting Equipment Co., Ltd. and FAW Casting Co., Ltd. has been awarded the "National Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Development Special Project" jointly organized and implemented by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the Ministry of Finance. The total investment of the project is 130 million yuan, and the project has received 27 million yuan in national funding. The project implementation period is 3.5 years.
The "Jiangsu Province Light Alloy Precision Forming Engineering Technology Research Center" project undertaken by the company, after three years of construction, successfully passed the acceptance of the expert group organized by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology on June 17, 2013.

On April 20, 2013, the SCV-550A vertical squeeze casting machine ordered by General Motors Shanghai Research Institute from Suzhou Sanji was successfully delivered. The product's various performance indicators met the customer's requirements. This equipment is specifically used for the research of squeeze casting technology for key magnesium alloy automotive components. The delivery of this equipment can help General Motors Shanghai Research Institute improve the scientific research level of automotive components and also create a precedent for squeeze casting machines in magnesium alloy forming production. The implementation of this project fully demonstrates General Motors' intention to promote the development of squeeze casting technology globally to achieve the goals of automotive lightweighting and quality improvement.
